Job Description

Are you an HR leader who enjoys helping people grow, supporting leaders, and making good workplaces even better? We are looking for a Corporate Human Resources Manager who wants to shape the people side of our employee-owned company. We want HR to help employees understand what ownership means in how they work – how they have a stake in it because they own stock in it. HR plays an important part in creating that environment. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of that—not simply administer it.

Based in Lindstrom, MN, this role is a great fit for someone who pairs sound judgment and compliance expertise with curiosity, authenticity, and a practical approach to getting things done. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is comfortable moving between continuous improvement and the realities of day-to-day HR. You will coach people at every level, step into difficult conversations when needed, and look for smarter ways to support employees and the business.

You’ll make an impact by

Developing people — coaching employees, supervisors and leaders; building capability within our HR team; and helping identify and develop talent throughout the organization. Strengthening our employee-owner culture — helping employees understand what ownership means and bringing our values of ownership, quality and continuous improvement into the everyday employee experience. Partnering with our plants — supporting our plant HR teams and leaders on employee relations, performance, organizational development and other challenges that require corporate HR partnership.

Building a strong HR foundation — ensuring compliance, sound policies and practices, effective leave administration, and thoughtful management of employment and workers’ compensation risk. Improving how we work — identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize and improve HR processes, systems and technology across the company. Growing our talent — supporting recruiting, onboarding, training, succession and development for both production and administrative employees.

Stepping up when it matters — handling complex employee relations situations, difficult conversations and organizational changes with good judgment, fairness and respect. What you'll bring:
You don't need to check every box. We're looking for someone who has the experience and judgment to lead HR today—and the curiosity and leadership mindset to keep growing with us.

Progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development or a related field
Strong working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, organizational development, safety and preventive labor relations
Experience coaching leaders and navigating difficult employee situations with both confidence and respect
Experience leading organizational change and helping others adapt to it
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust at every level of an organization
Comfortable using technology and looking for ways to make HR processes simpler, smarter and more effective
ADP/HRIS experience preferred
HR certification or advanced education is a plus
Employee Ownership/ESOP culture and/or administration experience preferred
You might be a great fit if you:
Ask questions before jumping to conclusions.

Can have a difficult conversation without making it personal. See problems as opportunities to make something better. Can move comfortably between the plant floor and the executive conference room. Don't need everything to be perfect before taking action. Enjoy developing people, not just managing processes. Are willing to roll up your sleeves when the situation calls for it. Believe HR should be a business partner, not simply the department that says “no.”
This is a role for someone who wants to grow.

You'll have the opportunity to influence HR across multiple locations, work closely with senior leadership, develop people and processes, and help shape how HR supports the company's future. This role is based on site in Lindstrom, with occasional opportunities to work remotely. Some travel is part of the position.
