Job Description

Amazon seeks an IT Manager to lead IT operations, infrastructure, and security in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment. You will own the reliability and scalability of on-prem and cloud (AWS) systems, manage a high-performing IT team, and drive data-backed improvements. Responsibilities include service management, incident response, network and systems administration, budgeting, vendor management, and security/compliance. You'll partner with business and engineering leaders to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions that enable Amazon's global growth and outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day IT operations, ensuring high availability and performance of systems and networks.
  • Design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure IT infrastructure and cloud solutions (AWS preferred).
  • Manage and develop an IT team, setting goals, providing coaching, and driving high performance.
  • Oversee IT service management, including incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Partner with business and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical roadmaps.
  • Own IT security, compliance, and risk management in line with Amazon and industry standards.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendors, and contracts to ensure cost-effective, reliable services.
  • Drive automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement using data and metrics.
