Job Description

Amazon is seeking an IT Manager to lead Ops Tech Solutions for our retail operations. You will own the reliability and performance of site technology across fulfillment and retail facilities, managing a team that supports networks, endpoints, and cloud-integrated systems. Responsibilities include incident and change management, driving automation, partnering with operations leaders on new tech rollouts, and ensuring high availability for mission critical tools. You will use data to improve service levels, coordinate vendors, enforce security standards, and mentor engineers in a fast paced, customer obsessed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop an IT operations team supporting retail and fulfillment technology environments
  • Ensure reliability and performance of networks, endpoints, and cloud-integrated systems in 24/7 operations
  • Own incident, problem, and change management processes to minimize downtime
  • Drive automation, monitoring, and standardization to improve service levels and reduce manual effort
  • Partner with operations, product, and engineering teams on new technology rollouts and upgrades
  • Manage vendors and service providers, ensuring SLAs and cost-efficiency
  • Implement and enforce security, compliance, and backup standards across sites
  • Use data and metrics to prioritize work, report performance, and drive continuous improvement
  • Plan and execute IT projects, including capacity planning and lifecycle management
  • Coach and mentor engineers, fostering a high-performance, customer-obsessed culture
