The Sales and Business Development Coordinator supports the Vice President of Sales and Business Development and the Account Management team by coordinating sales activities, customer follow-up, reporting, business development efforts, events, and assigned marketing initiatives. This position serves as a key resource for keeping sales activities organized, ensuring follow-up, and supporting communication between Sales, Operations, Accounting, Marketing, and other departments.

The Sales and Business Development Coordinator assists with executing business development strategies and helps ensure Account Managers have the information, resources, materials, and administrative support needed to serve customers effectively and pursue new business opportunities. High school diploma or equivalent required. Two or more years of experience in sales support, business development, marketing, customer service, administrative coordination, or a related role preferred.

Experience in commercial HVAC, construction, facilities services, or another business-to-business service environment is preferred but not required. Experience coordinating meetings, events, trade shows, or customer-facing activities preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Experience utilizing CRM, ERP, or other customer/business management systems preferred. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva preferred. Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to organize and communicate sales, operational, and financial information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, reporting, marketing, and social media tools. Supports the Vice President of Sales and Business Development and Account Managers with sales, customer, and business development activities. Reviews WIP, AR, customer, and sales-related reports and tracks required follow-up.

Coordinates new customer assignments, customer and contractor paperwork, and internal communication with appropriate departments. Assists Account Managers with customer needs, documentation, presentations, reporting, and operational follow-up. Coordinates Sales Department meetings, including scheduling, materials, agendas, training resources, and action-item follow-up. Coordinates and participates in trade shows, golf outings, networking events, customer events, and other business development activities.

Supports business development efforts through prospect and customer follow-up, outreach, and relationship-building activities. Organizes and assists with sales and marketing materials, promotional items, presentations, and social media content. Maintains organized sales records, schedules, contacts, assignments, and follow-up items. Works collaboratively across departments to support customer needs and resolve sales-related or operational issues.

Participates in meetings and training as assigned, for the purpose of obtaining information related to the company or to performing/improving job knowledge and performance. Ability and willingness to travel locally to customer locations, networking events, tradeshows, golf outings, and other company or industry events. Ability and willingness to occasionally work outside normal business hours for tradeshows, networking functions, customer events, company events, or other business needs. Ability to work for extended periods at a computer and regularly utilize standard office equipment.

Ability to occasionally lift and/or move materials, displays, promotional items, or event supplies weighing up to approximately 25 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while attending or working tradeshows, networking functions, golf outings, and other events.
