At MCB, we measure success by more than numbers. As Business Intelligence Lead, you will support the delivery of data-driven insights within CIB and help translate business intelligence into practical commercial action. You will structure, analyze and interpret internal and external information to support commercial priorities and management of information needs. Working closely with stakeholders across the CIB value chain, you will ensure that dashboards, analytics, insights and BI-generated opportunities are aligned with business priorities and support effective decision-making at strategic and operational levels.
In this role you will;

- Deliver timely, accurate and relevant insights addressing commercial, performance and management information requirements;
- Translate BI objectives into clear plans and priorities, focusing analytical effort on the clients, segments, sectors and markets most relevant to CIB's priorities;
- Support effective use of CRM to capture BI-generated leads, ownership, next actions and outcomes;
- Track BI-generated leads through to business outcomes, while the relevant business teams retain commercial ownership;
- Work closely with Coverage teams, Product teams, International Offices and other CIB stakeholders to ensure insights address business priorities and support commercial strategies;
- Translate business intelligence into actionable commercial opportunities to deepen existing client relationships, identify new prospects and support timely client engagement;
- Bring together internal data, external sources, research, client interactions and on-the-ground intelligence to build a more complete view of clients, prospects, sectors and markets;
- Contribute to the design, development and evolution of the Business Intelligence framework, defining how data and insights are captured, curated and shared across CIB units;
- Ensure strong collaboration with the Data function and promote consistent BI standards, data quality, governance and documentation;
- Drive continuous improvement of BI tools, systems, processes and reporting solutions, including appropriate use of self-service analytics.
To succeed in this position, you will be required to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Working closely with the Team Leader BI&A to support prioritization, delivery governance and alignment with CIB business objectives;
- Demonstrating strong commercial curiosity and the ability to go beyond reporting requirements to identify patterns, opportunities and questions that warrant business action;
- Making sense of complex, high-volume and sometimes contradictory information to structure problems and drive practical, data-driven solutions;
- Translating complex data and analysis into clear, concise and actionable insights for senior management and commercial stakeholders;
- Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals;
- Actively learning and adapting when tackling new or ambiguous problems, leveraging successes and failures to improve approaches and outcomes;
- Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments;
- Overseeing end-to-end BI delivery, from business requirements and data modeling through reporting, visualization, deployment, adoption, and ongoing improvement.
We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of:
