Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join an established heating and property services contractor covering South London and the surrounding areas.

This is a service and breakdown-focused role working across occupied residential properties, with an emphasis on domestic boiler servicing, fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs.

The role is ideal for an engineer who is confident working independently, managing their daily workload and delivering a professional service to residents and tenants.

• Carry out routine domestic boiler servicing and maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and complete boiler breakdown repairs.
• Undertake gas safety checks and CP12 certificates where required.
• Identify and replace faulty components to ensure heating systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Complete job sheets, service records and compliance paperwork accurately.
• Deliver a professional and customer-focused service to residents and tenants.
• Manage a daily workload efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

• Valid ACS gas qualifications and current Gas Safe registration.
• Proven experience in domestic boiler servicing and breakdown repairs.
• Own flue gas analyser.
• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six penalty points.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule.
• Ideally based in South London or within a reasonable commuting distance.

• £40,000–£45,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
• Flexibility up to £48,000 for highly experienced engineers with a strong background in domestic servicing and breakdowns.
