IT Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Consultant to develop, enhance, maintain, and support enterprise workflow and document management application built on IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), IBM FileNet, Java/J2EE, and Kofax Capture. The ideal candidate will bring deep, hands-on technical expertise in IBM BAW development, FileNet integrations, Java-based enterprise applications, and Kofax Capture, with the ability to independently troubleshoot complex application issues, implement enhancements, and support modernization initiatives. Must be comfortable working with existing enterprise and legacy systems while delivering reliable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in enterprise application development, maintenance, and system integration - 5 years
• Hands-on experience in IBM workflow and content management technologies - 5 years
• Proven, hands-on experience developing, enhancing, deploying, and troubleshooting enterprise applications using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)
• Strong proficiency in IBM FileNet, Content Engine APIs, document management, object stores, metadata, document retrieval, security, and integration
• Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development, debugging/testing, deployment and maintaining existing Java-based applications.
• Demonstrated experience working with Kofax Capture
• Kofax Capture:scanning workflows, OCR, document indexing, validation, batch processing, troubleshooting, and document export/integration processes.
• Experience developing and supporting integrations between IBM BAW, FileNet, Kofax Capture, and enterprise applications.
• Experience working with IBM Case Manager and IBM Content Navigator in enterprise content management or case management environments
• IBM Content Navigator customization, including plug-in development and UI configuration
• Experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP web services, including XML and JSON-based integrations.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.
• Experience using source control, application lifecycle management, and DevOps tools such as TFS, Azure DevOps (ADO), Git

Desired Skills:

• Experience supporting and modernizing IBM BPM, IBM BAW, IBM FileNet, or IBM Case Manager applications in large enterprise environments
• Experience customizing IBM Content Navigator, developing FileNet integrations using Java APIs, and troubleshooting complex IBM platform issues
• Hands-on experience with Tungsten Total Agility, formerly Kofax Capture
• IBM professional certification in Business Automation Workflow or FileNet, including a verifiable IBM-issued credential.
• Familiarity with Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
• Background in government, utilities, or other highly regulated environments
