Job Overview
Black Hills Energy recently completed a Phase 1 Microsoft Purview pilot focused on data classification and labeling. While the pilot was successful, the team identified a need for deeper expertise in Microsoft Purview configuration, permissions, auditing, reporting, information protection, and overall platform implementation.
The existing team can manage day-to-day administration, but they need a hands-on Microsoft Purview expert who has actually implemented and configured the platform and can work closely with developers to properly configure, operationalize, and enhance the solution.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on Microsoft Purview experience – REQUIRED
Proven experience with Microsoft Purview implementation and configuration
Strong understanding of:
Data Classification & Labeling
Information Protection
Permissions & Access Management
Audit & Compliance
Reporting and Governance
Purview Configuration & Administration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills – REQUIRED
Ability to work closely with developers, administrators, and business stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment
Must be a hands-on consultant who has implemented and configured Microsoft Purview, not just performed basic administration
