Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA / Test Lead with 10+ years of overall software testing and quality assurance experience, including strong hands-on experience testing DSI integrations, Oracle, JD Edwards (JDE), MySQL, DSI MEP, and Orchestrator-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise application testing, ERP testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, system integration testing (SIT), regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within highly regulated Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Pharmaceutical environments.

The role requires a strong understanding of complex integration landscapes involving JD Edwards, DSI/Mobile Enterprise Platform (MEP), Oracle databases, MySQL, Orchestrator, and upstream/downstream enterprise applications. The consultant will be responsible for defining the testing approach, developing and executing test scenarios, validating integrations and data flows, managing defects, and ensuring solutions meet business, technical, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Test Management

• Lead end-to-end testing activities across DSI, JD Edwards, Oracle, MySQL, DSI MEP, Orchestrator, and integrated enterprise applications.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution schedules based on business and technical requirements.
• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, integration designs, interface specifications, and technical documentation to determine testing scope and coverage.
• Define appropriate testing approaches for functional, integration, system, regression, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
• Establish traceability between requirements, test scenarios, test cases, defects, and test results.
• Coordinate testing activities across business, functional, technical, integration, and infrastructure teams.
• Track testing progress, defects, risks, dependencies, and overall quality metrics and provide regular status reporting to project stakeholders.

DSI Integration & MEP Testing

• Perform comprehensive testing of DSI Integration and DSI Mobile Enterprise Platform (MEP) solutions.
• Validate DSI integrations with JD Edwards and other enterprise applications.
• Test mobile and transaction-processing workflows supported through DSI/MEP.
• Validate inbound and outbound transactions between DSI, JDE, databases, and connected systems.
• Perform positive, negative, boundary, exception, and error-handling testing for integration scenarios.
• Verify transaction accuracy, data synchronization, interface processing, and error/reprocessing mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot integration failures and collaborate with development and integration teams to identify root causes.

JD Edwards & Orchestrator Testing

• Perform functional and integration testing of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) applications and business processes.
• Validate integrations between JDE and external applications using JD Edwards Orchestrator.
• Develop and execute test scenarios covering Orchestrations, Service Requests, REST/API integrations, data transformations, and business process automation.
• Validate end-to-end transactions across JDE modules and connected applications.
• Test integration scenarios involving business functions, applications, batch processes, interfaces, and database transactions.
• Perform regression testing following JDE enhancements, configuration changes, integrations, and application releases.

Database & Data Validation

• Perform backend data validation using Oracle and MySQL databases.
• Develop and execute SQL queries to validate application and integration data.
• Verify source-to-target data mappings, transformations, transaction processing, and database updates.
• Perform reconciliation between DSI, JDE, Oracle, MySQL, and downstream/upstream systems.
• Identify data inconsistencies, missing transactions, duplicate records, and integration failures.
• Support root-cause analysis by reviewing database records, integration logs, interface messages, and application behavior.

System Integration & End-to-End Testing

• Design and execute complex System Integration Testing (SIT) scenarios across multiple enterprise applications.
• Validate complete business processes spanning DSI JDE Oracle/MySQL downstream applications, as applicable.
• Perform interface, API, database, batch, and transaction-level testing.
• Validate error handling, transaction recovery, reprocessing, and exception-management scenarios.
• Coordinate cross-application testing involving multiple technical and functional teams.
• Ensure complete test coverage for business-critical and regulatory-impacting processes.

Defect Management & Quality Assurance

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and closure.
• Provide detailed defect information including test evidence, data conditions, logs, screenshots, and steps to reproduce.
• Work closely with developers, integration teams, functional consultants, and business users to troubleshoot defects.
• Perform defect retesting and regression testing following fixes.
• Conduct defect triage meetings and communicate quality risks to project leadership.
• Maintain test evidence and documentation in accordance with project and organizational quality standards.

Healthcare / Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Compliance

• Apply testing practices appropriate for Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Pharmaceutical environments.
• Ensure testing activities comply with applicable organizational quality, validation, documentation, and change-control processes.
• Support validation and audit-readiness requirements for regulated applications and integrations.
• Maintain accurate and traceable test documentation and execution evidence.
• Experience with GxP, Computer System Validation (CSV), 21 CFR Part 11, or similar regulated-system requirements is highly desirable.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Test Engineering, preferably supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
• 5+ years strong hands-on experience with DSI Integration.
• 5+ years of strong experience with DSI Mobile Enterprise Platform (MEP).
• 3+ years strong testing experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1).
• Experience testing integrations and automated processes using JD Edwards Orchestrator.
• 3+ years of strong experience with Oracle databases and backend data validation.
• Hands-on experience working with MySQL.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Extensive experience with System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT.
• Strong understanding of integration testing involving APIs, interfaces, databases, batch processes, and enterprise applications.
• Experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
• Strong defect-management and root-cause-analysis capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience working in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or other regulated environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2.
• Experience testing REST APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of JDE functional areas such as Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Finance.
• Experience with GxP / CSV validation processes.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 and regulated-system testing practices.
• Experience working with test-management and defect-management tools such as JIRA, ALM/Quality Center, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale ERP implementation, upgrade, integration, or transformation programs.
• Test automation experience is an added advantage.
