Job Description

Qualification : B. Com / M. Com / CA - Inter / CMA - Inter

Experience : 12+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts.

Location : Bangalore-Hoskote


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the overall Finance & Accounts function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.
  • Establish and monitor robust internal financial controls across procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, treasury, inventory, fixed assets, and record-to-report processes.
  • Review weekly Accounts Receivable, Payable, ageing, advance, and collection reports, coordinating with Purchase, Project, Service, Sales, and Commercial teams to improve cash collections and payments.
  • Manage the company's cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and fund planning to ensure adequate liquidity.
  • Oversee banking operations, including account management, fixed deposits, working capital requirements, bank guarantees, letters of credit, and banking documentation.
  • Ensure timely processing of import and export transactions, including compliance with FEMA, Customs, EDPMS, IDPMS, and EEFC requirements.
  • Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities on financial, statutory, and compliance matters.
  • Ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities, including provisions, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Review and monitor Fixed Asset Register (FAR), capitalization, depreciation, asset disposals, and periodic physical verification.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Customs, Companies Act, FEMA, RBI, and other applicable statutory regulations.
  • Coordinate with Company Secretary for MCA/ROC compliances and statutory filings relating to finance.
  • Lead statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, transfer pricing audits, and other regulatory audits by ensuring timely submission of required schedules and documentation.
  • Review monthly GST, TDS, and other statutory returns before submission and ensure timely compliance.
  • Prepare and present monthly MIS, financial statements, variance analysis, profitability reports, and management dashboards.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, cost control initiatives, and variance analysis to support business decisionmaking.
  • Support costing, inventory valuation, production accounting, and financial analysis for manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure proper accounting of imports, exports, inter-company transactions, foreign currency transactions, and ECB-related compliances.
  • Monitor accounting policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead ERP (SAP Business One or equivalent) finance processes, ensuring effective utilization, system controls, and continuous process improvements.
  • Develop, mentor, and supervise the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring proper delegation, performance management, and capability development.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Perform any other finance, accounting, treasury, taxation, compliance, or business support responsibilities assigned by management.
