Position Description:

Responsible for processing credit memos (e.g., sales tax, pricing discrepancies, price protection etc.) and billing specialist for the NavePoint company


General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Point Person for sales for all customer invoice corrections.
  • Issues credits for sales tax, freight, pricing discrepancies for all brands.
  • Works between collectors and sales to correct discrepancies on past due invoices.
  • Processes credits for price protection, co-op, or any other credits requested by sales.
  • Sends completed credit memos to sales, AR, or customer per request.
  • Posts NavePoint invoices to BC14 for "Direct Bill" customers.
  • Assists with credit card fraud monitoring by running risk score review report.
  • Assist with A/R month-end close as needed.


Education and/or Experience:

  • Administrative Writing Skills, Organization, Data Entry Skills, General Math Skills, Financial Software, Analyzing Information, Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Reporting Research Results, Verbal Communication
  • Two plus years of experience working in an accounting department as an Accounts Receivable specialist or accounting clerk or above
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Experience in Navision (Microsoft Dynamics) a plus
  • Associates degree in Business or equivalent or at least 3 years of experience performing full-service collections in a commercial setting.
  • Written and verbal in English
  • Ability to tactfully and professionally communicate with customers to resolve past due accounts
