Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with Power BI experience to design, develop, maintain, and enhance web applications and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core/MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, JavaScript frameworks, RESTful APIs, and Power BI reporting.

The selected candidate will collaborate with business analysts, application architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable technical solutions. Responsibilities will include application development, production support, database optimization, testing, and reporting enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and MVC.

• Build and maintain data access layers using Entity Framework Core and other ORM technologies.

• Develop and optimize backend services, RESTful APIs, and console applications.

• Implement responsive user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks and modern front-end technologies.

• Perform testing, code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application quality.

• Design, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases.

• Manage database schema changes and migrations using Entity Framework Code-First or Database-First approaches.

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and LINQ queries.

• Troubleshoot database performance issues and improve data-access efficiency.

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

• Validate report accuracy, optimize performance, and ensure reliable data presentation.

• Provide application maintenance, production support, enhancements, and ongoing development.

• Use development and testing tools such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Power BI Desktop, Power BI Report Builder, and Postman.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in .NET development using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Entity Framework, including Code-First, Database-First, or other ORM approaches.

• Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, querying, and performance optimization.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on JavaScript experience with at least two frameworks or libraries, such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or jQuery.

• Minimum 3 years of experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Minimum 3 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and data visualizations.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise IT applications.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud environments.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and software delivery processes.

• Understanding of microservices architecture.

• Relevant IT certifications, college education, or graduate-level technical training.
