Power Platform / Data Developer

• We are seeking a highly motivated and technically versatile Software Developer Analyst to support automation, modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple business applications and technology platforms. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys solving complex problems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and independently delivering solutions from concept through implementation.
• The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and application owners to streamline processes, develop integrations, improve reporting and analytics, and leverage emerging technologies including AI-assisted automation. This position requires a hands-on professional who can quickly learn new systems, adapt to changing priorities, and work across diverse business domains.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Process Improvement

• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and technology solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement workflow automation solutions using Power Automate and other automation platforms.
• Reduce manual effort through integration, orchestration, and process optimization.

Application Development & Integration

• Develop and maintain integrations between applications, databases, cloud services, and third-party platforms.
• Create and support APIs and service-based solutions.
• Assist with application modernization initiatives and cloud migration efforts.
• Participate in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support.

Data & Analytics

• Design and develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and data extracts.
• Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and business opportunities.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support operational and management decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and usability across reporting platforms.

AI & Emerging Technologies

• Evaluate and implement AI-assisted automation opportunities.
• Leverage modern technologies and tools to improve productivity and business outcomes.
• Research and recommend innovative approaches for process modernization and automation.

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure solutions align with organizational security, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Support audit, data privacy, and operational risk management practices.
• Promote best practices related to application lifecycle management and change control.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Diagnose application, integration, automation, and data-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancement recommendations for implemented solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development, automation, systems analysis, or related technical roles.
• Strong SQL and database development skills.
• Experience building reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Power BI or similar platforms.
• Experience with Power Automate, workflow tools, or business process automation platforms.
• Understanding of APIs, web services, and system integration concepts.
• Experience with data analysis and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and source control platforms.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation technologies.
• Knowledge of application governance, cybersecurity, and compliance practices.
• Experience supporting multiple business applications and technologies simultaneously.
