Technical Recruiter

About the Role

Join an early-stage applied AI company as an early recruiting hire, owning end-to-end hiring for engineering and technical roles. You will partner with company leaders to establish the recruiting function and help build the team developing AI training data and tools.

What You'll Do

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for software engineering, infrastructure, applied AI, and product engineering roles.

• Build outbound sourcing pipelines for technical candidates from AI labs, quantitative finance, high-growth startups, and universities.

• Partner with founders and senior hiring leaders on hiring strategy, role calibration, interview design, and closing candidates.

• Create a thoughtful, efficient candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.

• Develop foundational recruiting systems, workflows, templates, and talent market maps.

What We're Looking For

• Two to eight years of technical recruiting experience, including work at startups or boutique recruiting agencies.

• A track record sourcing, engaging, and closing engineering candidates in competitive markets, including hard-to-close senior, founding, or infrastructure talent.

• Experience building outbound sourcing pipelines and recruiting in a fast-paced startup environment, not solely in corporate recruiting.

• Strong understanding of software engineering, infrastructure, full-stack, and applied AI roles, along with common recruiting tools such as ATS, sourcing platforms, and email sequencing tools.

• Experience partnering directly with founders, executives, or senior hiring managers, and a network across engineering, AI, startup, university, or quantitative communities.

• A bachelor's degree from a US university and a record of sustained tenure in recent roles.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $150,000 to $225,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
