Senior Java Engineer

Position Details:
Client: Banking/Financial
Title: Senior Java Developer (Capital Market and Front Office/Backoffice/Cache Management/ Terraform)
Duration: 6+ months (Contract) Possibility of Extension
Location: Toronto - Hybrid
Pay Rate Range: $50/hr -120/hr open for rate exceptions

Must Haves:
10+ years Core Java development (enterprise-grade systems)
Advanced Spring Boot expertise
Experience building or refactoring microservices architectures
Cloud experience (AWS preferred; other cloud acceptable)
Strong experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
Terraform or similar IaC tools
Experience with distributed system design and high-performance applications
Capital Markets Expertise (Mandatory):
Public Markets
FX
Equities
Derivatives
Understanding of front-office workflows
