Lead Software Engineer

Allstate seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive delivery of innovative financial and insurance solutions that protect millions of customers. Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure financial software solutions for insurance products and services
• Lead a team of engineers through planning, coding, code reviews, and mentoring
• Collaborate with product, data, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical roadmaps
• Ensure code quality, reliability, and performance through testing, automation, and best practices
• Integrate with cloud platforms, APIs, and data systems supporting digital insurance experiences
• Champion secure coding, regulatory compliance, and data privacy within financial applications
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, tooling, and delivery pipelines
• Support production systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and guide incident resolution
