Finance Coordinator - Financial Accounting

Job Description
Our client is an established, diversified company with operations across the Southeast. They are seeking a hands-on Corporate Controller to lead all financial and accounting operations, reporting directly to the President.

Lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
Oversee month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations and GAAP financial statements
Establish and enhance accounting policies and internal controls
Monitor cash flow, AR/AP, and key financial metrics
Coordinate with external auditors on annual audits, tax filings, and compliance
Supervise and mentor the accounting team
Partner with leadership on real estate transaction analysis and financial insights
Leverage and enhance Yardi to streamline reporting and operations
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
~7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
~ Real estate experience (investment, development, or property management) preferred
~ Proven ability to lead finance teams and collaborate across departments
