Job Description

New York, NY | Hybrid (4 Days In Office, 1 Remote Day)

A leading investment management firm is seeking an Associate Director, Business Strategy Analyst to support the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives across the platform. Reporting to the Head of Business Strategy, this individual will partner with teams across investments, product management, distribution, and finance to help drive revenue growth, expand product capabilities, and enhance market positioning. The role is well-suited for a finance professional with familiarity in asset management and experience supporting acquisition-related analysis.



Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis to support enterprise-wide and business-line strategic planning initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders across investments, product, distribution, and finance to align priorities and advance strategic objectives.
  • Assist in the sourcing, modeling, evaluation, and execution of acquisition and partnership opportunities.
  • Perform strategic diligence, including analysis of market attractiveness, competitive positioning, strategic fit, and growth potential.
  • Support transaction execution efforts in coordination with multiple internal teams.
  • Prepare materials, insights, and recommendations for executive-level strategic discussions.
  • Coordinate strategic initiatives, including workplan development, stakeholder alignment, progress tracking, and outcome measurement.


Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in a finance-oriented role, ideally within investment banking or consulting.
  • Experience supporting M&A transactions and/or strategic partnership processes is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and collaborative skill set.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and business functions
