Own the end-to-end requirements process, from discovery and stakeholder discussions through delivery and validation. Partner with business stakeholders, users, engineering, and design to understand problems, goals, workflows, and desired outcomes. Coordinate requirements across multiple vendors and integrations, ensuring dependencies, sequencing, and ownership are identified ahead of development. Translate business and user needs into clear, actionable functional and non-functional requirements.

Create and maintain high-quality product documentation, including

Business and functional requirements

Process flows and workflows

Own and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring priorities, dependencies, scope, and requirements are clear. Maintain a forward pipeline of development-ready stories so priority work is sufficiently refined and groomed ahead of planned development. Support knowledge transfer from existing product/implementation partners as responsibilities transition back to the agency.

Develop detailed, testable acceptance criteria and work with engineering and QA to ensure requirements are properly understood and validated. Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirements reviews, and other product ceremonies as appropriate. Identify gaps, edge cases, dependencies, and potential risks before they become delivery issues. Work closely with UX/design partners to ensure solutions are intuitive, usable, and aligned with user needs. Contribute to user experience design, including user flows, wireframes, journey mapping, and usability considerations when appropriate.

Review completed work against requirements and acceptance criteria and help determine whether features are ready for release. Communicate product decisions, priorities, scope changes, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and delivery teams. Continuously improve our approach to requirements, documentation, backlog management, and product
Qualifications and Requirements:
3+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, product ownership, or a similar role. Strong experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing product requirements.

Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a backlog and maintain well-structured, prioritized, and actionable work. Experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, or other forms of product discovery. Strong understanding of user stories and acceptance criteria, with the ability to write requirements that are clear and testable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail. Comfortable working with technical teams and translating between business needs and technical implementation.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum or similar product development environments. Experience with UX/user-centered design, including familiarity with user flows, wireframes, prototypes, information architecture, or usability principles. Ability to manage competing priorities and drive work forward in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Familiarity with API concepts, integrations, data flows, or other technical product considerations. A strong sense of ownership—you don't simply document requirements; you make sure the team has the clarity needed to successfully deliver them.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
