Sales Merchandiser

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, the largest U.S. distributor of alcoholic beverages, is seeking a PT Sales Merchandiser to support Retail Operations in our Food & Beverage channel. In this role, you will merchandise product on shelves and displays, ensure planogram compliance, rotate stock, place point-of-sale materials, and support sales initiatives in assigned retail accounts. You'll partner closely with Sales Representatives to execute promotions, build relationships with store personnel, and report on inventory and competitive activity. Responsibilities

• Visit assigned retail accounts on a scheduled route to merchandise Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits beverage brands
• Stock shelves, coolers, and display areas, ensuring products are front-faced, organized, and rotated according to first-in, first-out (FIFO) standards
• Build, install, and maintain point-of-sale materials and promotional displays to maximize product visibility and drive consumer purchase
• Confirm proper pricing and signage are in place for all promoted items and core brands
• Monitor back-room inventory levels, communicate out-of-stocks or low-stock situations, and suggest appropriate orders to sales representatives or store personnel
• Support the Sales Representative in executing promotional programs, seasonal initiatives, and new product introductions within the territory
• Develop positive, professional relationships with store managers and key retail contacts, serving as an on-site brand ambassador
• Capture basic merchandising data, photos, and visit notes using mobile tools or company systems, and submit reports accurately and on time
• Maintain awareness of competitor activity and merchandising tactics, sharing relevant observations with the sales team
• Follow all company, retailer, and regulatory guidelines related to the handling and merchandising of alcoholic beverages, including age and ID requirements
• Safely handle and move product, adhering to proper lifting techniques and store safety rules
• Participate in training and development programs provided by Southern Glazer's to improve product knowledge, merchandising standards, and sales support capabilities
