Special Education Needs Tutor

Special Education Needs Tutor | Maidenhead, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We're hiring for an impact-driven community dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We partner with schools and local authorities to provide essential tutoring and support.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Assist children and young people with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
• Play a key role in our mission to raise the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2+ professional references.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
