Job Title: Program Manager – Dallas, TX (Onsite) | Long-Term Contract

Location: Dallas, TX
Work Arrangement: Onsite, 5 Days a Week
Duration: Long-Term

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee complex programs involving multiple projects, cross-functional teams, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program and project management, strategic planning, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining program objectives, developing execution plans, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, managing risks, and ensuring successful delivery aligned with organizational goals. You will also drive process improvements, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicate program status and business outcomes to executive leadership.

Candidates must be available to work onsite in Dallas, TX, five days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define program objectives, scope, milestones, and deliverables aligned with organizational priorities and business goals.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, dependencies, budgets, and risk management strategies.

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple projects and workstreams to ensure effective collaboration and successful program execution.

  • Establish program governance, reporting processes, project milestones, and performance measurement standards.

  • Monitor program progress against established schedules, deliverables, budgets, and quality expectations.

  • Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation plans and corrective actions to maintain program timelines.

  • Communicate program status, progress, risks, issues, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders, senior management, and executive leadership.

  • Manage program budgets, track expenditures, forecast resource requirements, and optimize resource utilization.

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, program reviews, status updates, and decision-making sessions.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization to improve program efficiency and delivery outcomes.

  • Define, track, and report program KPIs, milestones, performance metrics, and business outcomes.

  • Ensure alignment between business objectives, technical teams, project deliverables, and organizational strategy.

  • Proactively resolve cross-functional challenges and escalate critical issues when necessary.

  • Maintain program documentation, action items, status reports, and governance records.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of program management and project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.

  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs involving multiple projects, teams, and workstreams.

  • Experience developing program plans, managing schedules, tracking dependencies, and coordinating resources.

  • Strong skills in risk identification, issue resolution, mitigation planning, and change management.

  • Experience with program budgeting, expenditure tracking, resource planning, and performance monitoring.

  • Proficiency with project and program management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and Azure DevOps.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex program information clearly to technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.

  • Experience defining and reporting KPIs, program milestones, and business performance metrics.

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a complex, fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to work onsite in Dallas, TX, five days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification or a comparable program/project management certification.

  • Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives and cross-functional transformation programs.

  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

  • Experience with program governance, executive reporting, and portfolio-level coordination.

  • Knowledge of resource forecasting, budget management, dependency tracking, and performance optimization.

  • Experience implementing process improvements and establishing standardized program management practices.
