Senior Structural Engineer | Leicester

We're working with a well-established engineering consultancy in Leicester that is seeking a Senior Structural Technician to play a key role in delivering structural design solutions across a wide range of sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll be involved in projects from concept through to construction.

Role As a Senior Structural Technician, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality structural drawings and models, working closely with engineers, architects and contractors to deliver successful projects across:

Residential developments Commercial buildings Industrial schemes Education projects Retail developments Refurbishment and redevelopment projects You'll have the opportunity to work on projects of varying size and complexity, taking ownership of technical delivery while supporting junior team members where required.

Responsibilities Producing detailed structural drawings and BIM models. Developing structural solutions in steel, concrete, timber and masonry. Coordinating with engineers, architects and external consultants. Preparing construction issue drawings and technical detailing packages. Assisting with project coordination and design team meetings.

Ensuring work is delivered to industry standards and project deadlines. Supporting and mentoring junior technicians. Requirements Proven experience as a Structural Technician within a consultancy environment. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience using Revit and BIM workflows.

Knowledge of structural detailing for steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry structures. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
