Structural Engineer

London I £35,000 to £40,000 I Permanent I Hybrid We are looking for a Structural Engineer with around 4 years' experience to join a growing structural engineering consultancy in London.

This is a great opportunity for an Engineer who has built a solid foundation in structural design and is now looking for greater project responsibility, varied London projects and support towards Chartership.

You'll work across a mix of residential and commercial projects, with the opportunity to become increasingly involved in running your own projects as your experience develops.

The role As a Structural Engineer, you'll be involved in the design and delivery of projects across London, working alongside experienced Engineers while taking responsibility for your own technical workload. Your role will include:

Structural design across residential and commercial projects<br />Producing structural calculations and technical design information<br />Supporting projects through design and delivery stages<br />Working with clients and wider project teams<br />Coordinating structural information with other disciplines<br />Taking increasingly responsibility for your own projects<br />Developing your technical and project management experience What we're looking for We're looking for someone who already has a good grounding in UK structural engineering and is ready to take the next step in their career.

Ideally, you'll have:

Around 4 years' Structural Engineering experience<br />Previous experience working on London-based projects Residential and commercial project experience<br />Strong structural design capabilities<br />Experience working within an engineering consultancy<br />Good communication and coordination skills<br />An ambition to progress towards Chartered status Progression One of the main attractions of this position is the opportunity to move beyond purely technical design work.

As you develop, you'll be supported in taking on greater responsibility for project delivery and eventually running your own projects, alongside support towards Chartership. The position offers a salary of £35,000 to £40,000, depending on experience, with hybrid working and around 3 days per week in the London office.
