ML ENGINEER / SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Role: Software Engineer/ ML Engineer

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Bedminster, NJ

Mode of Work: Onsite for 5 days a week.

Ideally client is looking for 2-5 years

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

·         PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field with strong foundations in software engineering, algorithms, distributed systems, and backend architecture.

·         Hands-on software development experience using Python and/or Java, with the ability to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable production-grade applications.

·         Strong database knowledge in SQL and/or Oracle, including query optimization, stored procedures and data modeling. (Experience focused on relational databases; not seeking candidates whose primary experience is in MATLAB, Excel, or CSV-based analysis.)

·         Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), algorithms, and data structures, with experience leveraging AI to enhance existing applications, accelerate development using AI-assisted coding/vibe coding techniques, and drive technology modernization initiatives.

·         Ability to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, recommend architectural improvements, and drive innovation across software platforms.

·         Passionate learner with a strong curiosity for new technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a track record of continuously expanding technical expertise.

Preferred: Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform), containerization technologies, and modern software development practices is a BIG Plus.
