Job Description – Workday Business Systems Analyst / Product Owner (HCM & Recruiting) | Location: Texas (local candidates only)

Position Summary: Our customer is seeking a Workday Business Systems Analyst / Product Owner to serve as the primary liaison between Talent Acquisition, People Services, and technical production support teams for Workday HCM and Recruiting. This role owns the product intake backlog, drives release management, and ensures system configurations align with business goals and compliance requirements. This is a hybrid/on-site role based in Texas — candidates must currently reside in the Texas area.

Location: Texas (local candidates only — confirm hybrid/onsite cadence with client before posting)

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary liaison between Talent Acquisition, People Services, and technical production support teams for Workday HCM and Recruiting
• Analyze, design, and optimize business processes to improve efficiency and user experience
• Own product intake backlog, prioritize enhancements, and translate business needs into functional requirements
• Lead Workday release management activities, including impact analysis, testing coordination, and deployment readiness
• Develop and execute clear, timely release communications to stakeholders and end users
• Ensure system configurations align with business goals, compliance requirements, and best practices

Qualifications:

• Workday certifications in HCM and Recruiting (required)
• Proven experience as a BSA, Product Owner, or similar role supporting Workday HCM
• Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition and HR operations
• Experience with Workday release cycles, testing, and change management
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proficiency with project management/collaboration tools: Airtable, Confluence, Jira, MS Suite
