Summary: Data Center Security Engineer with experience in physical security design, access management systems, and third-party risk oversight.

Meta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer to join our Data Center security team as an individual contributor. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our rapidly scaling Data Center infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in design and operations for both general data center operations and physical security. They should be capable of defining a clear mid-to-long term vision in this space based on strategic business priorities, driving and supporting cross-functional projects and programs, and influencing partners to prioritize and execute against critical security initiatives. The successful candidate should have deep knowledge and experience across many of the following core areas: setting physical security and network security strategy for critical infrastructure, physical security design, network security considerations in the physical environment, guard force operations, alarm response, incident response and management, process and procedure standardization and optimization, and business continuity.

Skillset/Qualifications:
4-8 years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure and physical security design
Broad knowledge across the physical security and risk management
Expert in developing and administering security strategies and standards
General understanding of incident response, business and operational continuity, and disaster recovery, along with security s role in these processes
Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical partners
Experience identifying and communicating clear security requirements to inform and empower execution-focused teams and personnel
Experience building relationships with cross-functional partners and business leaders

Relevant certifications:
Preferred relevant security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, PCI, CC, CISP, etc.)
