Data Analyst/Engineer

Qualifications -

• Bachelor''s degree in Health Informatics, Statistics, Public Health, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience analyzing healthcare data, ideally in a consulting firm, health plan, or health system setting.
• Proficiency in SQL; experience with a scripting language such as Python or R is a plus.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and sources (claims, EHR/EMR, HL7/FHIR, ICD-10, CPT codes).
• Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy requirements.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical audiences.

 Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze healthcare data from claims databases, and other clinical or operational sources.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports in organisation''s data analytics platforms to track KPIs such as patient outcomes, readmission rates, cost of care, and quality metrics.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations.
• Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, gaps in care, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Document data definitions, workflows, and methodologies to support reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
• Present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.
