Snowflake Solutions Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Solutions Architect with 10+ years of technical leadership and enterprise consulting experience. In this role, you will engage with customers across all phases of the customer journey to optimize, accelerate, and drive successful business outcomes. You will demonstrate daily technical leadership by writing code, constructing innovative solution architectures, and guiding stakeholders—from hands-on developers to senior executives—on how to best leverage the Snowflake Data Cloud to ensure long-term business success. The ideal candidate is comfortable with rapid change and thrives on the cutting edge of cloud and data technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Customer Engagement: Partner with customers throughout every stage of their data journey to drive adoption, optimize performance, accelerate time-to-value, and achieve critical business outcomes.
• Technical Leadership & Hands-on Coding: Lead by example by writing clean, efficient code, building data pipelines, and constructing scalable, secure, and innovative solution architectures.
• Solution Architecture & Design: Design comprehensive data warehouse, data lake, and analytics architectures on Snowflake, integrating seamlessly with modern cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Strategic Advisory & Executive Consultation: Act as a trusted advisor to a diverse audience ranging from developers to C-level senior executives, providing guidance on best practices, governance, cost optimization, and architecture patterns using Snowflake.
• Complex Decision Guidance: Navigate complex technical and architectural decision paths with customers, helping them resolve roadblocks and achieve high-impact results.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to relay customer feedback and continuously improve platform utilization.
• Continuous Innovation: Stay at the forefront of emerging data technologies, generative AI/ML capabilities within the data space, and cloud advancements to keep solutions modern and cutting-edge.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in enterprise data architecture, software engineering, technical consulting, or solutions architecture.
• Core Platform Expertise: Extensive, hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions on Snowflake Data Cloud (SnowPro certification preferred).
• Technical Stack:
  • Advanced coding proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or SQL.
  • Strong background in modern data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and cloud storage architectures.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Consulting & Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of presenting technical concepts to both developer-level engineers and executive leadership.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master's degree preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in fast-paced SaaS, enterprise software, or client-facing consulting environments.
• Deep understanding of data governance, security frameworks, RBAC, and performance tuning in large-scale data environments.
• Demonstrated ability to embrace changing priorities and operate autonomously on the cutting edge of technology.
