Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Responsible for elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
• Research and exploration of user requirements, costs, and benefits in support of documentation required for the demand management process.
• Responsible for analyzing the business needs to identify new processes and process improvements that will meet those needs.
• Documents current business processes and models to define requirements and/or gaps.
• Analyze detailed system factors including input/output requirements, information and paper flow, hardware, and software needs.
• Analyze “soft" system factors including roles, responsibilities, policy, culture, etc.
• Evaluate the impact of potential software and process changes on the organization.
• Develop and facilitate groups as necessary in pursuit of eliciting and defining requirements.
• Assist in the creation of the business case documentation.
• Understanding of architectural consistency and usability standards.
• Defines and develops user test cases and validates test results during testing.
• Executes unit and functional test cases.
• May conduct system demonstrations and training sessions, as well as participate in design/review of training content.
• Plays a third level support role by helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues with production systems.
• Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or another related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience leading data migration requirements from legacy systems into a new ERP (Sage X3) environment
• Strong hands-on expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management, with emphasis on data mapping, transformation rules, and validation
• Deep understanding of data structures, data quality, and migration best practices, with the ability to identify gaps and risks early
• Self-driven and accountable professional with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to drive outcomes with minimal oversight
• Working knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience in any of the following business areas is desired: Sales operations, order entry, accounting, finance, procurement, warehouse operations, order management, and order fulfillment.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ business analysis or systems analysis experience is preferred.
• Bonus: Sage X3 experience (ERP).

Job Title: Solution Architect
Location: Levis/Montreal, QC
Duration: 12 Months
The management team responsible for strategy and technology architecture supports business units in the governance, evolution and integration of IT solutions and platforms.
As an application solutions architecture consultant, you will contribute to the definition, design, and evolution of technological services that support business activities. You will collaborate with architecture and security teams, as well as IT partners, to ensure that solutions are aligned with technological directions and organizational needs.
You will play a leadership and influencing role in strategic and complex initiatives involving application environments, data, security, traditional and cloud infrastructures, as well as continuous development and delivery practices.
The role requires in-depth expertise in solution architecture, strong analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve solution architectures according to business needs and technological directions.
- Supporting delivery teams in the design and integration of solutions.
- Evaluate the impacts of technological choices on applications, data, security, performance and operations.
- Produce and develop architectural files as well as the various reference artifacts (positioning, Patrion, switchmen)
- Collaborate closely with domain architects, security experts, platform teams, and business partners.
- Contribute to the definition of technological roadmaps and support modernization and convergence strategies.
- Participate in preliminary design studies, proofs of concept and technological assessments to prepare for the future.
- Influencing architectural decisions within the framework of strategic and complex initiatives.
- Identify and document the functional and technological capabilities needed to meet the expressed business needs.
- Determine the solutions, applications and services involved in the solutions and assess their impacts (coexistence, dependencies, performance, security).
- Propose and develop IT guidelines to support the chosen solutions.
- Produce or revise solution architecture documentation, including coverage of non-functional requirements.
- Describe and popularize the solutions using architectural diagrams and models (ideally in Archimate).
- Conduct studies, positioning and design phases, and make appropriate technological recommendations
- Providing support to management (evaluation of efforts, budgeting exercise, and cost-benefit/impact analysis on operating methods, delivery structure, etc.)
- Develop strategies for transition, cohabitation, conversion and load shedding.
- Communicating effectively with different types of audiences: business, functional, architects, developers, managers, scrum master, delivery manager.
- Ensure that the solutions comply with the organization's norms, standards and guidelines.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience
- Technical leadership experience
- Knowledge of modern techniques for developing and delivering application solutions (DevSecOps, Agile, Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Delivery, etc.)
- Practical knowledge of modern software architectures: microservices, events, API-first, continuous integration.
- Experience with Azure cloud platform architecture (required)
- Knowledge of various development languages and frameworks, as well as delivery techniques for mainframe (Java), mobile (Apple, Android) and microcomputer (Java, .Net, etc.) (Required)
- Ability to challenge or support software design decisions (patterns, anti-patterns, design impacts).
- Understanding the challenges of software quality: testability, observability, performance, coupling, application security.
- Contribute to the analysis of major issues and make recommendations to the relevant bodies and committees.
- EIS Experience (Required) Insurance Solution) asset, (SQL or Oracle), microservices, API gateway, DevOps culture, Kafka Confluent,
