MIAP Product Data Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client seeking a MIAP Product Data Analyst in Miami, FL (Florida).

Summary

We are seeking an experienced MIAP Product Data Analyst with strong expertise in Python, SQL, ETL development, and Linux environments. This role will focus on building and maintaining data pipelines, improving data quality, supporting reporting and analytics initiatives, and partnering with technical and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines integrating data from databases, APIs, flat files, and other sources
• Collect, cleanse, transform, and analyze structured and semi-structured data
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting, analytics, and operational support
• Develop Python-based automation, validation, and data processing solutions
• Manage and troubleshoot scripts and jobs within Linux/Unix environments
• Perform data quality checks and resolve data integrity issues
• Create recurring reports and perform ad hoc data analysis
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to address data availability and performance challenges
• Maintain documentation for data sources, workflows, scripts, and processes
• Identify opportunities to enhance automation, efficiency, and data reliability

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar technical role
• Advanced SQL experience, including complex joins, aggregations, and query optimization
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting ETL processes
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and command-line utilities
• Knowledge of Python, Bash, or shell scripting
• Foundational IT knowledge, including: Linux and Windows operating systems; Networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, ports, and connectivity troubleshooting
• Strong Python skills for scripting, automation, and data analysis
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
