Job Title: Desktop Support/ Tech Level III

Location: 255 E Hebron St, Charlotte, NC 28273

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm

Type: 6 Month Contract to Hire

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction of end users and peers by resolving their reported technical issue in a vigorous, professional, and sincere manner. The Desktop Technician Level III ensures that service delivery adheres to company standards. This individual will have an in-depth knowledge of the Zachry environment with a desired goal of effectively delivering exceptional support to our end users from a remote IT Service Desk environment. Ensuring timely incident resolution and superior customer service is a primary objective for the Desktop Technician Level III role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Image PC's and deploy applications using SCCM
  • Install, replace and configure hardware, as well as install and configure all standard business and engineering software
  • Perform general user and copier location moves for existing setups
  • Perform hands-on advanced troubleshooting of Windows 11 OS, user desktops/laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral devices.
  • Install and troubleshoot O365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and MS Office)
  • Basic network and server knowledge to assist in troubleshooting and repairs (replace bad disk drive, replace memory, restart server)
  • Manage Active Directory user accounts, including creating, deleting, modifying user accounts, and dealing with more complex account lockout issues
  • Documentation of IT processes to be utilized by the Service Desk and technical teams where needed


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Hands-on experience with imaging, deploying machines and troubleshooting
  • Experience with administration and support of PCs utilizing Windows 11 OS and Office 365 products
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and an understanding of networking, switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs and wireless
  • Professional experience in customer service
  • Candidate must be detailed orientated
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to elicit cooperation and action from individuals over which there is no supervisory relationship
  • Overtime work may be required


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • IT industry certifications are preferred, specifically CompTia Network+, Security+, Microsoft Professional, and Cisco Associate


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to kneel and run cables under desks and other office furniture


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work will be in a conservative corporate office environment operating and functioning at a fast pace. Working out of cubicles near other various colleagues who are also in cubes. Some may refer to these workspaces as cube farms
