We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a team in El Segundo, California in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This position is ideal for someone who can translate business needs into technical solutions, especially in environments involving APIs, integrations, and cross-functional collaboration. The role will focus on analyzing system interactions, documenting requirements, and supporting the delivery of integration-focused initiatives with clear communication across business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

Analyze business processes and system needs to identify functional gaps and recommend practical solution options. Partner with technical teams and stakeholders to define requirements for API-based connections and third-party application integrations. Produce detailed documentation such as business requirements, technical specifications, workflow descriptions, and source-to-target mapping artifacts. Evaluate data movement across systems to support accurate integration design, validation, and issue resolution.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with delivery teams to refine priorities, clarify user stories, and support implementation efforts. Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and appropriately executed. Review existing processes and integration points to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, service quality, and system alignment. Support testing and validation activities by confirming that delivered solutions meet documented business and functional expectations.

Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, integration analysis, or a closely related discipline. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with APIs, system interfaces, or integration solutions. Proven background integrating external or third-party applications into existing business environments. Experience creating technical documentation, including functional specifications and source-to-target mapping documents. Familiarity with middleware technologies or integration platforms used to connect enterprise systems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical audiences. Working knowledge of Agile Scrum practices, gap analysis, and structured document review. Experience supporting customer service or call center related business processes is beneficial.
