Business Systems Analyst

Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join a semiconductor and electric components manufacturing organization in Duncan, South Carolina. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role will focus on strengthening Oracle E-Business Suite solutions by partnering with business teams and technical resources to improve application performance, usability, and alignment with operational goals. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in requirements analysis, process improvement, and functional support across enterprise systems. This role offers the chance to contribute to high-impact initiatives that support finance, supply chain, procurement, and operations.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders across business and IT teams to understand operational needs and turn them into practical Oracle E-Business Suite solutions. Elicit, organize, and evaluate functional requirements for application enhancements, issue resolution, upgrades, and ongoing system support. Maintain and adjust Oracle application configurations to meet business expectations while supporting stability and efficiency. Convert business needs into clear functional documentation that guides developers, integration teams, and other technical resources.

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and recommend improved approaches within the Oracle E-Business Suite environment. Participate in implementations, patches, integrations, and upgrade activities, including troubleshooting and support after deployment. Build test scenarios, coordinate user acceptance activities, and confirm that delivered changes meet defined business objectives. Prepare training guides, process documentation, and reference materials while assisting end users with adoption and knowledge transfer.

Collaborate with finance, supply chain, procurement, and operations teams to ensure system capabilities support broader business priorities. Track application behavior and respond to functional issues quickly to minimize disruption to daily operations. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline. At least 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role supporting Oracle E-Business Suite environments. Working knowledge of Oracle modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, Procurement, Order Management, or related application areas.

Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and produce functional specifications or design documentation. Familiarity with Oracle workflows, reporting tools, and system integrations. Solid understanding of business process analysis, gap analysis, data review, and system testing practices. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams. Experience with Agile or Scrum delivery methods is preferred.
