Google Cloud Platform Solution Architect

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) to join our team in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and practices, with a specific emphasis on Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect knowledge. This role requires a strategic thinker who can design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions that meet our business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead architectural discussions and provide guidance on best practices for cloud adoption and migration.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to improve cloud infrastructure and application performance.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, including design patterns, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud computing and Google Cloud Platform.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and certification as a Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect is a must.
• Expertise in designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, and compute services in Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with data engineering and analytics on Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of machine learning and AI services offered by Google Cloud Platform.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud architecture and solutions.
• Proven track record of successful cloud implementations and migrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
