Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP QM/PP Functional Consultant to support a leading aerospace manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP Quality Management (QM) and Production Planning (PP) on SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on configuration experience, strong business process knowledge, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

The consultant will be responsible for gathering business requirements, designing functional solutions, preparing functional specifications, and supporting end-to-end implementation and enhancement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP Quality Management (QM) and Production Planning (PP) modules in SAP S/4HANA.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers for custom developments.
• Support end-to-end testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing.
• Work on PP-QM integration and PP-MM integration to streamline manufacturing processes.
• Configure and support Quality Notifications, Quality Inspections, and Quality Workflows.
• Support Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Project Stock processes involving WBS elements.
• Provide expertise in production rework, rework from stock, problem-solving processes, and MRO scenarios.
• Assist business users with process improvements and production planning best practices.
• Participate in implementation, enhancement, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–16 years of SAP functional consulting experience.
• Strong configuration expertise in SAP QM, SAP PP, and Production Engineering & Operations (PEO).
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori Applications.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Quality Notification
• Quality Inspection
• Business Workflow
• Inspection Types 03 and 04
• Experience with PP-QM and PP-MM integration.
• Experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Experience with Project Stock and WBS elements.
• Ability to gather business requirements and create functional specifications.
• Experience coordinating with ABAP development teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Aerospace & Defense or Automotive Manufacturing.
• Experience in Complex Assembly Manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of:
• Product Rework/Rework from Stock
• Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) processes
• SAP Project Systems (PS)
• Network Orders
• WBS Elements
• PP-PS Integration using Manufacturing Orders (MA) and Internal Orders (IKs)
• 1–2 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects involving both SAP PP and SAP QM.
