Job Description

Systematic Options Trader - NYC

One of the top options market making teams is seeking an experienced Quantitative Trader to help scale their systematic equity options business. This team is lead by an industry expert and has a strong track record of leading performance. This is small, highly collaborative, team that is supported by some of the best technical resources the industry has to offer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize systematic equity options trading strategies.
  • Work closely with researchers and engineers to improve performance and execution.
  • Monitor market conditions and adjust trading and risk parameters as needed.
  • Identify new opportunities and help drive strategy development.
  • Own risk controls and maintain high operational standards.

Qualifications:

  • B.S./M.S. in a quantitative field (Math, Stats, Computer Science, Computational Finance)
  • 2+ years of experience in Equity Options Market Making
  • Solid understanding of systematic trading, microstructure dynamics, and electronic execution
  • Strong technical aptitude, including experience working with systematic or partially automated trading workflows
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
