Description:
Leads the enterprise Epic training program across DSOHF, overseeing training strategy, curriculum, staff, readiness, and effectiveness for Epic implementations, upgrades, workflow changes, and ongoing optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Epic training team, including trainers, curriculum development, and training operations.
- Develop and maintain enterprise Epic training strategies, curricula, materials, and training standards.
- Coordinate training activities for Epic upgrades, implementations, workflow changes, and new functionality.
- Partner with Epic application managers, analysts, clinical/business leaders, and governance groups to assess training needs and readiness.
- Establish training plans, schedules, communications, and readiness milestones for system changes.
- Monitor training completion, effectiveness, competency, and user feedback; develop corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure training content aligns with approved Epic workflows, organizational policies, and operational requirements.
- Support go-live and post-go-live training activities, including at-the-elbow support when appropriate.
- Standardize training processes across DSOHF facilities while accommodating differences in behavioral health, long-term care, developmental disability, and other clinical environments.
- Provide regular status reporting, performance metrics, risks, and recommendations to Epic leadership.
