Job Description

We are looking for an AI Engineer with experience in text-to-text language translation technologies and a strong understanding of AI/ML and language models. The ideal candidate will help build and maintain a company-specific translation library that accurately translates English to Spanish for real-time and batch applications while incorporating retail and company-specific domain knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered English-to-Spanish translation solutions.

·         Build and enhance a company-specific translation library and terminology framework.

·         Develop solutions for both real-time and batch translation use cases.

·         Integrate LLMs and language translation models/services into applications.

·         Incorporate retail and company-specific terminology and domain knowledge.

·         Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve translation quality and consistency.

·         Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to understand translation requirements.

·         Evaluate translation accuracy and continuously improve model performance.

·         Support future expansion into voice-based translation technologies.

Required / Preferred Skills

·         Experience as an AI/ML Engineer working with language technologies.

·         Strong experience with LLMs and NLP.

·         Hands-on experience with language translation services or translation models.

·         Experience with prompt engineering.

·         Knowledge of English-to-Spanish machine translation.

·         Experience with terminology management and domain-specific language.

·         Experience with real-time and batch processing.

·         STT (Speech-to-Text) experience is preferred.

·         Experience in retail domain or other business-specific terminology is a plus.

Nice to Have

·         Experience with voice/ speech AI and conversational AI.

·         Experience fine-tuning or evaluating LLMs/translation models.

·         Experience developing production-ready AI applications and APIs.

·         Familiarity with cloud-based AI/ML services.
