Job Description

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong Banking/Financial Services and SQL experience. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, translate business requirements into technical specifications, analyze data using SQL, and support end-to-end delivery of banking applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for banking applications.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA, and technology teams.
  • Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation using SQL queries.
  • Analyze existing systems, data flows, APIs, and application integrations to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst.
  • Strong Banking / Financial Services domain experience Must Have.
  • Strong hands-on SQL experience Must Have.
  • Experience with relational databases, data analysis, joins, subqueries, and complex SQL queries.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience writing technical and functional requirements.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with retail banking, commercial banking, payments, loans, deposits, cards, or financial transactions.
  • Experience with REST APIs and API testing tools such as Postman.
