Business System Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, subject-matter experts, technical teams, and leadership.

• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business requirements, functional needs, and user stories.

• Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder meetings, workshops, and business process discussions.

• Translate complex business and technical challenges into clear, actionable requirements.

• Serve as a liaison between business teams, IT, data governance, project management, and QA teams.

• Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve conflicting priorities, and facilitate consensus-based decisions.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and support enterprise systems integration and interoperability.

• Support digital transformation initiatives, organizational change management, and technology adoption.

• Promote established governance practices and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or in a similar technology or government-related role.

• At least 5 years of business analysis and problem-solving experience in a consulting or project environment.

• At least 5 years of experience managing business relationships and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

• Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills across business, IT, data, project management, and leadership teams.

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing, documenting, and managing business requirements and user stories.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Highly Desired Qualifications

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience working with Azure DevOps.

• Experience with Salesforce, including business process support, requirements gathering, and documentation.

• Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders in a Salesforce environment.

• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification.
