The Role

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust Safety Management Systems aligned with engineering and programme requirements.
• Support the creation and upkeep of Project Safety Management Plans throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct thorough hazard and risk identification, management, and assessment for products.
• Contribute to the development of Product Safety Cases, including Safety Case Reports and technical safety arguments.
• Administer and manage the Project Hazard Log, ensuring effective hazard tracking and resolution.
• Apply STEM expertise to interpret technical data and support safety activities across all project phases.

What You'll Need

• A Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety management systems.
• Proven ability in hazard and risk identification, management, and assessment.
• Experience supporting the development of safety cases and associated documentation.
• Familiarity with managing project hazard logs.
• Ability to interpret and analyse technical data to support safety engineering activities.
