Senior Engineer – Safety & Environmental Engineering (Product Safety) | Nuneaton, United Kingdom | Hybrid

The Role
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Safety Management System, ensuring robust and compliant safety processes.
• Support the creation and upkeep of Project Safety Management Plans throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct hazard and risk identification, management, and assessment, considering environmental and operational factors.
• Contribute to the development of the Project Product Safety Case, including technical arguments and evidence-based reports.
• Administer and manage the Project Hazard Log, ensuring effective tracking and mitigation of risks.
• Apply STEM knowledge to interpret technical data and support safety activities across design, manufacturing, and testing phases.
What You'll Need
• A STEM degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in product safety hazard and risk identification and management.
• Familiarity with safety case development and reporting.
• Ability to manage hazard logs and track safety-related data.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret technical data.
• Understanding of engineering and programme requirements for safety compliance.
