The Role

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Safety Management System to ensure robust and compliant safety processes.
• Support the creation and upkeep of Project Safety Management Plans throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct hazard and risk identification, assessment, and management, considering environmental and operational factors.
• Contribute to the development of the Project Product Safety Case, including preparing Safety Case Reports and technical safety arguments.
• Administer and manage the Project Hazard Log, ensuring effective hazard tracking and mitigation.
• Apply STEM knowledge to interpret data and support safety activities across design, manufacturing, and testing phases.

What You'll Need

• A STEM degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Proven experience in safety engineering, particularly in product safety management.
• Familiarity with safety case development and hazard log management.
• Ability to interpret and analyze technical data to support safety assessments.
• Understanding of safety processes across various project lifecycle phases.
• Knowledge of environmental and operational challenges relevant to product safety.
