Network Engineer with Security Clearance

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Operating and managing network equipment including hubs, routers, switches, bridges, servers, and transmission media. • Configuring and optimizing network hubs, routers, and switches. • Developing and implementing network backup and recovery procedures. • Diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues. • Installing and maintaining network infrastructure device operating system software. • Monitoring network capacity and performance. • Patching network vulnerabilities to safeguard information. • Testing and maintaining network infrastructure including software and hardware devices. • Implementing and testing network infrastructure contingency and recovery plans. • Establishing and maintaining network security practices. • Analyzing network traffic capacity and performance characteristics. • Developing and validating network security measures. • Preparing and maintaining documentation of network configurations and changes. • Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.

• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science
• Certification in one of the following: o CompTIA Network+ o Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED • Four or more years of related work experience
• Proven knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and hands-on experience applying AI solutions
• One must hold an active DoD Secret clearance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A highly motivated self-starter
