Senior Scrum Master

We are seeking a Senior/Lead Scrum Master to support a modernization program by serving as a servant leader, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, resolving team conflicts, and coaching teams toward self-organization, accountability, and high performance. The role partners with the Agile Coach and Product Owner, promotes psychological safety and cross-team collaboration, and drives continuous improvement while operating within established Agile standards and organizational processes.

Key Responsibilities

·        Build and coach self-organizing, accountable Agile teams.

·        Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective sprint execution.

·        Identify, resolve, and escalate team and organizational impediments.

·        Address conflicts, resistance to Agile adoption, and team dysfunctions.

·        Foster psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

·        Drive retrospectives, experimentation, and measurable improvements in delivery predictability.

·        Shield teams from external disruptions and promote accountability.

Key Requirements

·        7+ years of hands-on Scrum Master experience supporting multiple teams in complex/matrixed environments.

·        CSM or PSM II+ certification required; CSP or SAFe certifications preferred.

·        Proven experience developing high-performing, self-organizing teams and improving delivery predictability.

·        Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, change management, and stakeholder management skills.

·        Experience coaching teams through Agile adoption and organizational change.

·        Ability to work within established Agile frameworks and organizational standards.

·        Government or highly regulated industry experience preferred.
