Mostly Remote - Need to go on base 1x a quarter Mon-Fri Days **** THIS CAN NOT BE A 2ND JOB AND THEY HAVE TO WORK DURING CORE HOURS(EST) **** We are looking for a Scrum Master / Agile Lead to support multiple cross-functional Agile teams delivering enterprise IT capabilities in a DoD environment.

Top Skillsets

• 5+ years leading Agile teams and delivering enterprise IT software capabilities.
• Strong experience managing Agile workflows in Jira, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and tracking team progress.
• Experience with the Information Systems Management Tool (ISMT), an Atlassian-based tool used within the Air Force Teamcenter environment.
• Must have one of the following Agile certifications: CSM, A-CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), or PMI-ACP.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coordinate Scrum of Scrums across multiple teams and remove operational impediments.
• Lead Release/PI Planning to align roadmaps, dependencies, MVPs, and team deliverables.
• Work with Product Owners and SMEs to turn requirements and change requests into Epics, Features, and User Stories in Jira.
• Enforce Definition of Ready/Done and ensure software meets testing, security, and acceptance requirements.
• Track velocity, sprint performance, burndown, defects, and workload using Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr.
• Coordinate defect and regression triage before Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare and brief Agile metrics for program and leadership reviews.
• Coordinate with Systems Engineers, Architects, developers, government stakeholders, and functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and help teams improve delivery and reduce cycle time.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of Agile/Scrum experience in enterprise IT/software environments.
• Demonstrated experience with Jira and Agile workflow management.
• Experience supporting a DoD or Federal DevSecOps environment.
• Experience coordinating sprint cycles, release gates, and capability deliveries.
• Active DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred

• SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale experience.
• Advanced Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr experience.
• Teamcenter, CAD/BOM, or digital engineering experience.
• AWS/Azure GovCloud and DoD IL4/IL5 experience.
• Familiarity with DoD 8140/8570, DISA STIGs, and RMF.
