Agile Scrum Master

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Washington, DC, or Charlotte, NC. This is a contract opportunity is for 12+ months.

In this role, you will lead and direct agile project teams to deliver project-defined business outcomes, acting as the process coach within a cross-functional software development team. You will guide the team's adherence to agile values and principles, support them in identifying risks, and lead the removal of impediments to clear the path for continued progress. This position involves scrum team coordination, managing the backlog with Product Owners, and consulting with other scrum teams to support the development of Agile processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct agile project teams to deliver project-defined business outcomes
• Act as the process coach within a cross-functional software development team
• Serve as a guide to help the team's adherence to the agile values and principles
• Support the team in identifying risk, identifying proposed solutions for identified issues, and leading the removal of impediments
• Coordinate with Product Owners and Technical Leads in managing the backlog and providing support for backlog-related activities
• Consult and coach other Scrum Teams and support the development of Agile Scrum processes

Requirements:

• 8+ years of demonstrable experience of Scrum Management
• Strong organization and facilitation skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Expert ability to track, manage, and resolve dependencies, blockers, issues, and risks
• Strong analytical skills and initiative to proactively collect details needed to address blockers
• Strong ability to lead, influence, and drive team efforts and results
• Ability to work well with internal and external team members and resolve conflicts collaboratively
• Advanced experience in JIRA, Confluence, and Release Management Tools
• Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
• Hands-on experience with managing large-scale agile, technical projects and executive communications
• Able to work independently with limited supervision
• Experience building dashboards and filtering/lookups in Jira
• Experience working in an Agile development process and deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle

Desired skills:

• Experience or understanding of SOAR, SIEM, TINES
• Understanding of enterprise change standards

Pay range: $59.72 - $67.72 per hour
