The Role • Operate heavy equipment to load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks. • Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Utilize specialized equipment such as top loaders, side loaders, and cranes for stacking and moving containers. • Conduct pre and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics tasks. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing ladders/stairs. • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, with open availability. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. • Basic communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
