The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks safely and efficiently.
• Position and organize containers within the intermodal yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics operations.
• Maintain a strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures in all work activities.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to pass a background verification, physical, and drug screening, including cannabis testing.
